  • Pump noise and vibration?

    1. Misalignment of engine and pump end: check the coupling.
    2. Loose engine and/or pump end: Check the installation of the engine and pump end, and tighten the mounting bolts if necessary.
    3. The impeller is partially blocked: remove the sundries in the impeller.
    4. Mechanical defects: Check and replace the following parts if necessary: /shaft/bearings/wear rings/impellers/couplings.
    5. The suction pipe or discharge pipe is not fixed: fix the suction pipe and discharge pipe as required.
    6. The suction lift of the pump is too large during cavitation.

  • Water pump consumes too much electricity?

    1. Speed too high: Reduce engine speed/power.
    2. Too much liquid: Throttle the discharge of the pump with a similar butterfly valve.
    3. Combination of rotating elements: Check and replace the following parts if necessary: /shaft/bearings/wear rings/impellers/couplings.
    4. Wear ring wear: Check the wear ring and replace if necessary.

  • The water pump stops after working for a while?

    1. Air entering the suction tube: Make sure the end of the suction tube is deep enough in the water to avoid vortices.
    2. Leakage of the suction pipe: Repair the leak of the suction pipe.
    3. The sum of the suction and discharge heads is greater than the rated head of the pump: check the total head requirements against the performance curve of the pump.
    4. Gas in air or liquid: Check that the priming system is working properly and that the pump is free from cavitation.

  • Insufficient fluid delivery or insufficient pressure?

  • No Liquid Delivered?

    1. Pump does not start: Check the starting system.
    2. The speed is too low: check whether the engine is running at the required power/speed.
    3. The sum of the suction and discharge heads is greater than the rated head of the pump: check the total head requirements against the performance curve of the pump.
    4. The impeller is completely blocked: remove the sundries in the impeller.
    5. Suction hose or filter clogged and/or leaking: Remove any debris from the suction hose and filter. Repair any leaks in the suction hose.
    6. Worn impellers and/or wear rings: inspect and replace as necessary.
    7. Worn mechanical seal: check and replace if necessary.
